Welcome to Phlump, home of Scotland's quirkiest and most delicious gourmet marshmallows, handmade with love in Angus, Scotland. Every fluffy bite is gluten free and crafted to bring a smile, a memory, and a touch of sweetness to your day.

Phlump did not start in a fancy kitchen or with a grand business plan. It started with a birthday wish. When our daughter Summer kept asking for marshmallows, her dad Craig took it as a challenge and that challenge turned into something magical. What began as a fun experiment quickly became a craft, a passion, and eventually a thriving marshmallow business.

"We were an accident," laughs co-founder Gemma. "We were never meant to be a business. We just wanted to make something sweet for our little girl. But once we nailed it, we could not stop!"

Making marshmallows is harder than it looks. It is sugar, gelatine, and patience, boiled to the perfect temperature, whipped to just the right cloud-like texture, and then lovingly flavoured, cut, and dusted. Sometimes we joke the secret is a pinch of cloud and a lot of patience. Every batch is handcrafted in small quantities to ensure quality, texture, and flavour that stands out, always made in Scotland.

From classics like Salted Caramel and Mint Chocolate to fun seasonal twists like Churro, our marshmallows are as creative as they are tasty. We even involve friends and family in flavour ideas, including a very enthusiastic group of marshmallow experts from Gemma's classroom. You can pair them with our rich gourmet hot chocolate for the ultimate cosy treat.

At Phlump we believe everyone should join the fun. That is why we use halal gelatine in our marshmallows so kids and adults from a range of backgrounds can get involved in tasting and creating flavours. All our products are gluten free and available online or through local stockists across the UK.

We might have started as a happy accident, but thanks to support from our local community and marshmallow lovers far and wide, Phlump has grown beyond what we ever imagined.
